第三十五首 but a mere dream(故事)
last night i dreamt i went to your house,
the jasmines were just blooming in the porch.
i roamed around like a welcomed guest,
through the sumptuously furnished parlor,
and into the ethereal diving room with the wonder of an eye.
everything i remembered and left in oblivion were surely there.
only silence was present until i played pathtique on three pianos,
something i thought could not have been done poorer than then.
“this one doesn’t work”, a girl talked through the room,
who was as startled as me at this unexpected guest,
but who deserved more than just a guest.
her almond shaped eyes were pretty yet not the ones i’ve beheld,
scarce traces of weary left her hair tousled.
her insouciant voice began answering my questions,
